About Marcel Vogel
The Vogel-method of crystal healing is named after Dr. Marcel Vogel (1917 - 1991) who was a research scientist for IBM’s R&D facility for 27 years. He received numerous patents for his inventions during this time, many of which are still widely in use today. His areas of expertise were phosphor technology, liquid crystal systems, luminescence, and magnetics. In the 1970’s Marcel received a spiritual vision where he understood the Kabbalist Tree of Life as a shape in which to cut Quartz crystal. What resulted from his vision was the creative expression for the Vogel-cut® crystal. He used his decades of study on Quartz crystal as well as esoteric and spiritual knowledge of sacred geometry in the design and execution of these tools. He spent a considerable amount of time educating others on their powerful therapeutic use. His methods for clearing and charging a crystal are held in the highest esteem amongst crystal healing practitioners today.
What is the Vogel method?
The Vogel method of therapeutic use of crystals follows Marcel Vogel's specific techniques to heal the various 'bodies' of an individual (namely the physical, astral / emotional, lower mind, higher mind, Buddhic, Atmic bodies of the human energy field). This method of practice requires meditative focus, mild pranayama breath work, intuition and collaborative intention. I prepare for each session for approximately 5-10 minutes and then conduct Marcel Vogel's steps to enter, hold, attune, amplify, link and release incoherent patterns of energy.
What is the Vogel-cut® crystal?
The Vogel-cut® crystal is an instrument that serves to store, amplify, convert, and perhaps most importantly, cohere subtle energies. True Vogel crystals have been faceted and cut in the lineage of Marcel Vogel by a trained lapidary like Drew Tousley. Vogel crystals can have 4, 6, 8, 12, 13 or more sides depending on the use or preference of the healer. Unfortunately many counterfeit Vogel crystals exist today and are mass produced in Brazil and China. The 12 - sided Vogel crystal used in my healing is a certified authentic Vogel crystal cut by esteemed lapidary Drew Tousley who was personally trained by Marcel Vogel. Drew's creative process could not be replicated for mass production given the care, meditation and creative vision that accompanies his work.
